六年級下冊是小學階段的最后一冊，為了讓教師能有足夠的時間幫助學生梳理、復習整個小學階段所學的內容，打下扎實的基礎，為進入初中階段做好準備，在本冊教材的編排上編者做了一些變動，主要是刪減了兩個單元的內容，原來的兩個階段復習（期中和期末）改為兩個對小學所有教學內容的總體復習單元。
一、本冊教學目標
能力目標：能夠就長度，重量，高度，看病，感情，周末和假期旅游活動等話題展開簡短對話并完成相應任務。
知識目標：能夠聽、說、讀、寫六十一個短語和單詞，七組句型和四個單句;復習整個小學階段的學習內容。

1.新的教學內容少。
