前面我們主要講了五種簡單句的結構，今天開始我們將進入復雜句的學習，即多重句。顧名思義，多重句是由多個句子組成的長句。大家在開始多重句的學習之前，希望能復習回顧一下我們所學的簡單句，此塌因為多重句是在簡單句的基礎上加上相應的連接詞組合而來，這些多重句就是我們平時所接觸的長難句。

我們曾經講過，句子和短語最大的區別在于句子必須有謂喊扒寬語動詞，即“老婆”。那將句子分成簡單句和多重句的話，兩者的區別是什么呢？簡單句是一個“家庭”，只有一個謂語動詞，一個“老婆”；而多重句是一個“家族”，包含多個“家庭”，有多個謂語動詞，多個“老婆”。
多重句又可以分為三類：并列句、復合句和并列復合句。
并列句其實就鄭亮是兩個簡單句的組合，為方便理解，我們可以將其比喻成兩家人，即由“哥哥和嫂子+弟弟和弟妹”組合而來，其屬于“同輩人”關系。
復合句是一個“大家族”，我們可以看作是一個爺爺奶奶生出了多個兒子，多兒子又生出來多孫子，其相當于一個樹形的大家族，其屬于“從屬”關系。
并列復合句相當于“兩個爺爺奶奶”分別繁衍了兩個大家族，由兩個或兩個以上并列的復合句構成。

1、 簡單句1：Mike likes yellow.（麥克喜歡黃色。）
簡單句2：Lucy likes blue.（露西喜歡藍色。）
并列句：Mike likes yellowbutLucy likes blue.（麥克喜歡黃色，但露西喜歡藍色。）
大家觀察這三個句子可知，該并列句是由簡單句1+連接詞but+簡單句2組成，即我們上文說到的，兩個老公（Mike和Lucy）和老婆（兩個likes），這兩個簡單句是“同輩”的關系，一般同等重要。
2、 簡單句1：My grandfather bought me a watch.（我爺爺給我買了手表。）
簡單句2：I liked it very much.（我非常喜歡它。）
并列句：My grandfather bought me a watchand I liked it very much.（我爺爺給我買了手表，我很喜歡。）
這個例子中的并列句由簡單句1+連接詞and+簡單句2連接而成。因為這兩個簡單句是順承關系，所以連接詞為and；而上面的句中，兩個簡單句為轉折關系，所以連接詞是but。
