剛一口氣把愛情與金錢看完了，這是書蟲第一級(jí)第一本書，書不難讀，偵探短篇，讀后挺難受的。
先說劇情概要，莫莉女士有三個(gè)孩子，有姐姐，但是她家庭不幸福，孩子們長(zhǎng)大了，光想著吃好的穿好的，不好好工作，問她要錢。她很生氣。
尤察簡(jiǎn)其是她的一個(gè)女畢蠢兒，每月都回來問她要電話費(fèi)，不給就威脅說要報(bào)警，說出真相，當(dāng)媽的很害怕很生氣，只好給她錢。
其他幾個(gè)孩子也不省心，有的游手好閑不務(wù)正業(yè)，有的只想買名貴衣服，又不好好工作掙錢，光想啃老。
還有的一心談戀愛，結(jié)果當(dāng)媽的看不上她男朋友，嫌他窮酸。
總之，莫莉的三個(gè)孩子跟老媽關(guān)系都很僵。
莫莉其實(shí)獨(dú)居，她的老公去年出車禍死了，她還有個(gè)生病的姐姐，姐妹倆關(guān)系也不和。
有一天晚上，孩子們都回到莫莉這里聚會(huì)吃晚餐，但是孩子們又問她要錢，說要她把老房子賣了，沒必要住那么大房子，住個(gè)小點(diǎn)的，換點(diǎn)錢，改善一下家庭條件。
莫莉很生氣，跟孩子們大吵了一家，上樓睡覺，結(jié)果第二天，她死了。
孩子們嚎啕大哭，但又暗自高興，各懷鬼胎，想著怎么分財(cái)產(chǎn)。
但是老媽死的不明不白，平時(shí)負(fù)責(zé)給她看病的家庭醫(yī)生看不過去，報(bào)警了。
